A duckling named Buttercup hatched from his egg last November with a foul left foot that bent backwards. Noticing he had trouble walking on the busted flipper, staff at the Feathered Angels Waterfowl Sanctuary in Arlington, Tenn., surgically removed it in February.
They used a 3-D printer to create another realistic foot for him. They made the new foot out of 'light-sensitive polymer'. Now the duck can swim just as good as new. What a great story!
